John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978) Original
This movie is one of the iconic classics of horror movie lore. Almost every horror flick made since the release of the original Halloween has, in one way or another, been influenced by this masterpiece of cinematography. You have to really pay attention to the little things which make this movie so unique. It combines all the elements in the past, with a brand new twist (for 1978 standards at least). One of these unique situations almost no one ever picks up on is the scene where Lorrie, sister to Michael Myers, is in her classroom and see’s Michael standing outside. Well do you ever pay attention to what the teach is talking about in per passage explanation? Take a listen next time, was that intentional to discuss how you cannot change Fate? Carpenter left nothing to chance so this is just another example of some of his true genius behind the direction of this movie.
We all know how many Halloween’s there are currently in circulation. There will only ever be 1 original Halloween and 1 original Michael Myers and 1 original Dr. Samuel Loomis (and so on) in John Carpenter’s 1978 Version of Halloween which will stand the test of All time.
